The Scott family will show about 15 exhibits at the Australian Sheep and Wool Show in July, with the team having already taken home a number of broadribbons in the past 12 months.
The champion ram lamb from the Australian Dorset Championships will make a return to the show mat, as will the reserve junior champion ram from the Melbourne Royal Show and the champion and reserve champion rams from the Canberra Royal - all different rams.
Valley Vista will also exhibit the ewe that won both supreme interbreed exhibit at the Canberra Royal and the reserve champion ewe at Sydney Royal sashes, as well as their reserve champion ewe from the Melbourne Royal.
Co-principal Andrew Scott said it was reaffirming of the stud's breeding direction to have success across a consistent line of sheep, rather than just having one standout.
Like many places across the country, Coolac has struggled through an extended dry period for the past two years, and while it has received late autumn rain, several good seasons will be needed to replenish the property.
In the meantime, Mr Scott said they had culled heavily, selecting for the best quality sheep and keeping them in good condition, which would benefit the stud in the long run.
He added that the focus has been on strict selection of sale rams to ensure high growth rates, and on ensuring effective and efficient feeding across the flock.
