The figure eclipses the all-time record of $428.7 million achieved in the 2016/17 period.
And it also comes when industry forecasters such as Meat and Livestock Australia show low stock numbers nationally.
Livestock Marketing Centre general manager Paul Martin said 178,992 cattle were sold for a turnover of $147,797,608.79 and 1,947,638 sheep and lambs went under the hammer to amass $282,874,341.73.
In addition the Wagga Livestock Marketing Centre the sale yards has also claimed back the national lamb record, after some jostling from other centres.

The lamb record currently sits at $354.20 and was achieved by Goulburn vendor Joe Mooney last month when his offering was sold through Landmark, Wagga with Peter Cabot taking the bids.
Mr Martin said the figures were testament to the quality of the stock, vendors, livestock agents and selling facility. He said big numbers had passed through the centre in past years, however, the overall turnover was attributed directly to high prices.
"We have a drawing area (for livestock) of 300 to 400 kilometres," he said.
