Robert and Paula Gray are respected for their White Suffolk breeding program, which produces a higher standard of genetics traits, growth, muscling, ease of birthing and eating quality.
The estimated breeding values of their top 47 rams for sale are 226 to 200 on the Carcase Plus Index.
The Grays have used Farrer rams for their 2018 joining.
"We will source rams from Victoria for 2019," Robert said.
"Quality genetics with sound structure have proven to produce the best rams and ewes for our stud enterprise."
Higher profits in prime lambs are achieved by using the genetics of high fertility, good milkers that have shown ease of birthing.
"Fast growers convinced us to change our breed of rams over 30 years ago," Robert said.
Since that time Robert has been a passionate breeder, working closely with the Prime Lamb Genetics Association and Dr Robert Banks at Hay Research station when introducing the White Suffolk.
He has produced high quality with little interbreeding. Sourcing rams from Depta Grove, Waratah, Farrer, Gemini with only the best ewes bred on Glen Park, he now has proven quality structure and higher average EBVs then all other terminal breeds.
"Our ewes are classed by Simon Beattie from Victoria to enforce the genetics, structure and type are only the best quality," Robert said.
"Our rams are brucellosis credited and we have our vet to do a full health check before sale.
"We wish all our farmers a better outlook for rain and better times."
