Challambi Charolais is working in partnership with Tumbarumba High School to show some of its stud cattle.
At the recent Charolais National Show and Sale in Dubbo, cattle from Challambi were successfully presented and were awarded two first places and a third, including a first to an 11-month-old heifer and third to a 12-month-old heifer.
The stud's current sale bulls are suited to the region's climate, low birth weight and high growth. They can add value to the commercial producers' breeding operation.
