There were 2900 new season lambs offered and prices eased $3. Trade weights made $170 to $210/head.
Old light lambs fell $4 making $138 to $156, while trade weights were from $10 to $15 easier, with prices from $151 to $188/head.
Heavy and extra heavy weights eased by $20 to $25/head. Heavy lambs to 26kg sold from $183 to $232, while extra heavy weights received from $225 to $288/head. Carcase prices averaged from 798c to 837c/kg. Mutton quality was fair with a good offering of heavy sheep available. Prices improved, with merino ewes selling from $145 to $224/head. Heavy crossbred ewes sold from $164 to $220, with Dorper ewes made $105 to $190/head.
