The day featured a blade shearing demonstration and competition as well as the annual fashion parade, featuring wool designs from both local and high street brands.
Studs from across the Riverina took part in the Elders Performance and Merino ram and ewe of the year competition, with Poll Boonoke awarded Merino ram of the year for the seventh year in a row.

Poll Boonoke prove their sheep aren't their only winners
The day's blade sheering competition saw Shannon Mitchell of Poll Boonoke, Conargo take out the top spot, followed by Bruce Rollinson of Goolgumbla, Jerilderie and Tom Lilburne also of Poll Boonoke, Conargo, in third.
Judge, Chris Bowman, Hay said he was looking for three elements when judging.
"I'm looking for the way they handle their sheep, their speed and the quality of the work that they do," Mr Bowman said.
"When you stand the sheep up you can the sheep's been shorn evenly all over and the fleece they left on the ground was in good shape."
Fashion show demonstrates innovation in wool
This year's fashion show had the longest runway yet but this didn't stop the models, from Deniliquin, Griffith and Jerilderie, showing off the versatility and innovation of wool.
The fashion show's curator, Deniliquin designer Jane Frazer said some of the garments shown demonstrated the technology going into fibre.
"There was a piece by emerging fashion designer, Diana Wei that was made of wool but was waterproof," Ms Frazer said.
