The properties cover 758 hectares (1864 acres) in two non-contingent parcels and present in excellent heart and offer buyers an opportunity to purchase productive land ideal for mixed farming enterprises.

Mittagong Park and The Block are situated 11 kilometres west of Grong Grong, with the former having 4km of Newell Highway frontage.
The properties are 13 kilometres north east of Narrandera and 90 kilometres north west of Wagga Wagga.
The vendors have been long-term operators of Deepdene Poll Dorset Stud, carrying 400 stud ewes, 200 ewe lambs and 250 rams and a commercial merino flock of 1200 ewes.
Most of the merinos have been sold; currently there are 250 merino ewes and 180 calving cows and 120 weaners. The recent September ram sale had a total clearance of 148 rams offered.
Water is plentiful in supply. Mittagong Park has 13 dams, a stock and domestic water supply to nine troughs and there is a 45,000-litre tank for the stock and domestic water and 112,500 litres of rainwater storage.

There are two dams on The Block.
Livestock handling improvements include a three-stand raised board woolshed with undercover steel yards, steel cattle yards. There is a large steel utility shed ideal for plant or equipment that is currently being used for hay, machinery and as the stud sale ring. There are three self-emptying silos (105-tonne capacity) for grain storage.
Pastures are a variety of production species, including tetrone rye, medics, clovers, Lucerne, with ryecorn, brassica and oats grown for fodder.
In August at Mittagong Park the vendors spray topped 310 hectares of pastures, 88ha oats and 44ha brassica.
At The Block, 50ha pasture has been spray fallowed, 30ha pasture was spray topped, 40ha Kittyhawk wheat was hay freezed and there is 28ha of salt bush.
