Despite the difficult season, the rams are in excellent condition, and will be penned for inspection from 9.30am.
Establishing and continuing an annual program since 1998, they have identified critical traits that drive profitability, and have nurtured and developed genetics that produce high performing sheep to give producers a multi stream income.
Through years of selection, Glen Iris has established excellent body shape and fat cover in their sheep. This has lifted fertility in the ewes, improved lamb survival and increased the maturity rate of the lambs.
The Glen Iris breeding program, including regular AI, and selection processes, has resulted in a very profitable sheep that is increasingly more resilient to the climatic conditions of the South West Slopes and Riverina.
Elders will conduct the auction at 11.30am with lunch to be provided after the sale.
