Some patrons were optimistic enough to wear gumboots despite the fact only small amounts of rain had fallen over night.
And others were keen to inspect the latest air seeders, balers and tractors. Popular as always was the vintage machinery display.
This display had a baler and wool press which generated interest during the working demonstrations.
Yard dog competitions proved popular with action starting early on the first day of the event.
And a plaque at the site was unveiled to remember the life and work of the late Tim Fischer.
