MONDAY OCTOBER 7: Walbundrie Show features a great range of events from a young farmer challenge through to the popular Walbundrie shearing competition. There will be father and son competitions and a women's shearing event with excellent prizes. Other attractions include equestrian events, and a pavillion with cookery, horticulture, floral art and needle work plus school exhibits.

OCTOBER 9: Hart Bros Seeds annual spring field day will be at the Hart Bros site at Coffin Rock Road Junee Reefs. A farm tour starts at 9.30am. For more details email office@hbseeds.com.au or call (02) 6924 7206.
OCTOBER 27: Narrandera Town and Country Open Garden Day will visit the garden of "Hillsbrae" at Sandigo, plus five gardens in the Narrandera township will open for the Narrandera self-drive Town and Country Open Garden Day to raise funds for the work of Can Assist.
Starting at 9am the gardens remain open until 5pm.
Cost is $20 per person for entry to all gardens and includes a complimentary Devonshire Tea at the Uniting Church Hall. Tickets can be purchased from Narrandera Park until 2.30pm on the day. A low cost plant stall will be available at the Uniting Church Hall.
