The top ram, sold to South Australian stud, Deepwater as lot 13 for $3600.
Gleneith's Nathan Kember said the top-priced ram was sired by Gleneith 275-14.
"The sire is a well-bodied ram with great figures, he's a very square and heavy style of ram," Mr Kember said.
Mr Kember said he thought the top-priced rams ASBV figures were what attracted the stud interest.
The ram had a milk-weight of 2.0, weaning weight of 8.7, post-weaning weight of 12.4 and a huge Border Dollar Index of 142.3.
Deepwater also purchased lot 14 for $2200, a ram sired by Gleneith 246-16.
Mr Kember said 246-16 was a prominent ram for the stud, siring up to half of the top 20 rams in the draft.
Purchaser, Judy Dowdy said they bought the Gleneith rams to add a new bloodline to their stud.
"We usually introduce outside bloodlines through AI but we were impressed with what we saw so we decided to buy these two," Ms Dowdy said. Local stud, Burnt Creek Borders of Junee bought the second highest priced ram for $3300.
Brent Medway of Tolldale Gunning was the volume buyer of the day, taking home 16 rams in their second year buying from the stud.
Mr Medway said he liked the good bone and stretch in the Gleneith rams.
"When selecting we looked for a few low-birth weights to help joining with our maiden ewes," Mr Medway said.
Mr Medway said he used the rams to breed ewes for the Yass first-cross ewe sales in November and January, joining the Border Leicesters with Riverina Merino ewes.
Rockley Wrights, Cowra also purchased a large draft of rams, 14 going to their Central West property.
Mr Kember said there was a good percentage of local buyers but they also had clients attend from, Albury, Moama and South Australia.
The sale was conducted by Elders with Joe Wilks and Will Stoddard auctioneers.
