The rodeo has been a fixture for the community since 2013 but committee secretary Jasmine Allen explained the event was initially run with timed-events only.
"Then in 2014 we stepped up and ran our first rodeo (incorporating) rough stock," she said.
Despite hurdles along the way the event appears to be thriving and organisers are hoping for a successful rodeo again this year.
"We have competitors from all over NSW and Victoria who travel to attend our local rodeo ... we usually have 300 to 400 competitors."
The well known stock contracting family, John Gill and Sons of The Rock, are set to provide rough stock to keep crowds entertained and competitors challenged.

"This will be the main feature of our rodeo," Ms Allen said.
Aside from enjoying the rodeo atmosphere and providing a platform for competitors to showcase their talents the community gathering is considered to offer so much more.
Ms Allen explained the event relied heavily on sponsorship to be successful. And other events, also held at Tarcutta, help to support the running of a rodeo in the town.
To keep things ticking along, and to give back, she explained the rodeo had been able to donate to the Tarcutta Recreational Grounds and to help with the upgrades of a new multipurpose shed.
In true community style the local Tarcutta RSL Citizens Club will run the bar and the Tarcutta Men's Shed will work on the gate. The event is also set to be supported by plenty of other volunteers from the local region.
"We had a lot of dust last year, (so) this year we have teamed with the local fire brigade to eliminate this hazard by watering down the grounds," Ms Allen said.
She said the full day of entertainment starts at 8.30am and will continue into the evening. Miss Allen encouraged people to come along and support Tarcutta, the rodeo competitors, and to enjoy a local event.
"We strive to provide an enjoyable and entertaining day out for everyone," she said.
