Cody Angland wins national saddle bronc title

Cody Angland, who grew up in Wagga, has earned the title of Australian champion saddle bronc rider at the Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) finals in Warwick, Queensland.

Queensland competitor, Campbell Hodson won the all around cowboy title as well as the rope and tie. Fellow Queensland rider Ellysa Kenny was named all around cowgirl. Will Purcell won the bull ride and the bareback bronc ride went to David Worsfold. Steer wrestling was won by Tate Van Wel and the team roping header title was won by Shane Kenny.

Liam Davidson won the heeling title, Chanetel Huddy won the barrel race and the break away roping title was won by Cherie O'Donoghue.
