THE Wagga man charged with vandalising the Dog on the Tuckerbox in July has changed his plea to guilty and will be sentenced this Friday.

Benjamin Gow, of Estella, appeared in Wagga Local Court today when he changed his plea to guilty to one count of destroy or damage property.
The 28-year-old also pleaded guilty to one count of entering upon any part of a fountain erected in a public place.
Gow initially pleaded not guilty on September 25 when he made his first court appearance.
He was charged after he handed himself into Wagga police on July 29, two days after damaging the iconic tourist attraction.
The dog and tuckerbox were dislodged from their base, causing them to fall into a surrounding fountain, at the Gundagai rest area where the statue is publicly displayed.
The dog's ears were broken off and the historic old wishing well, made of fragile sandstone, was also damaged.
The statue was repaired and returned to its plinth about three weeks after the incident.
Bail for Gow continues.
