Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market. Light new season lambs eased $2, selling from $140 to $145/head. Trade weights were $5 easier with prices making from $155 to $185/head. Heavy lambs also eased to sell from $182 to $210/head. Carcase prices averaged from 760 to 783c/kg cwt. Old trade weights sold from $155 to $190 with heavy weights selling from $185 to $210/head. Extra heavy weights sold from $215 to $250/head. Mutton numbers were made up by predominately Merinos and quality was fair. Prices showed a dearer trend with Merino ewes selling from $126 to $200/head. Crossbreds received from $118 to $220 and Dorper ewes sold to $166/head.
