Leading Australian fencing machinery manufacturer, Munro Engineers, is celebrating over half a century of manufacturing its revolutionary posthole driver.

Munro launched its revolutionary post driver in 1964, in a world first, Munro had combined a fast-drilling auger with a powerful post driver.

Feedback from customers shows Munro posthole drivers increased productivity, saved time and were cost effective.

Munro Engineers has used its innovation to become a world leader in the design and manufacture of fencing machines.

Products include:

  • The AutoDriver, which combines in one machine a fast-action rock breaker-style hammer and a hydraulic auger for drilling pilot holes
  • The Multi-Sett, an all-weather system that combines a fast-action earth auger for drilling a pilot hole with a powerful post driver for setting a tight post every time
  • The WireWinder can coil up to 300 metres of fencing in under a minute and is capable of taking in up to three panels of ringlock at once, or a combination of barbed and plain in excess of 10 wires at a time
