According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.
Trade weight new season lambs were firm to $3 easier to sell from $149 to $167/head. Heavy lambs received from $170 to $180/head.
A large penning of Dorper lambs received from $148 to $190/head for trade and heavy weights.
Old trade weight lambs sold from $164 to $186/head. Heavies received from $186 to $200 with extra heavies reaching $220/head.
Carcase prices averaged from 731c to 758c/kg.
Mutton numbers were made up of mostly Merinos and prices remained steady. Merino ewes sold from $140 to $187, crossbreds received from $130 to $190/head.
Dorper ewes sold from $110 to $190/head.
