According to the National Livestock Reporting Service light lambs were limited in number and reached $166/head. Trade weights were $8 cheaper with prices making from $166 to $216/head.
Heavy and extra heavy weights were $10 to $12/head easier. Heavy lambs to 26kg sold from $215 to $249 and extra heavies received from $244 to $333/head.
Carcase prices averaged from 854c to 939c/kg cwt. Mutton quality was very mixed and Merinos made up the majority. Prices continue to be strong with Merino ewes selling from $133 to $215/head.
Crossbred ewes ranged in price from $115 to $250 and Dorper ewes sold from $100 to $213/head.
