Smaller yarding at Wodonga sees steers reach $1780

It was a smaller yarding of 1207 cattle at the Wodonga saleyards on Thursday, with steers making up to $1780 per head and 520 cents per kilogram.

Michael Unthank of Brian Unthank Rural said it was a very strong sale once again.

"The quality was just as good, the cattle probably lacked a little bit of the finish or bloom of a fortnight ago with a couple of weeks of pretty ordinary weather in the area," Mr Unthank said.
