Back in January members of the Uranquinty Country Women's Association (CWA) Evening Branch rallied behind the Rural Fire Service (RFS) and helped to provide meals.
Toni Nugent estimated that they made around 150 salad rolls. She said much of the produce was sourced from the Bardo Lane business.
She said this kind of support is extremely valuable. Mrs Nugent, and fellow Uranquinty evening branch member and treasurer, Mardi Walker recently met with Robert Papasidero to present him with a certificate of appreciation.
"This (Bardo Lane) business donated all of the fruit and vegetables and apple juice," Mrs Nugent said.
She said Mr Papasidero was humbled to be recognised and she said CWA and the RFS were certainly grateful for the contribution.
