According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service numbers eased at this sale with lambs showing the change.
Lamb numbers were made up of mostly new seasons and quality continues to be good with most lambs fresh and well finished.
The usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market. There was 8,500 new season lambs penned and prices eased by $5 to $8/head.
Trade weights 18 to 22kg sold from $123 to $148/head. Heavy weights up to 26kg sold from $145 to $164 with the extra heavy weights receiving from $172 to $184/head.
Carcase prices averaged from 611c to 650c/kg. Old lambs were firm to $4 cheaper. Heavy lambs sold from $142 to $168 with extra heavy weights receiving from $155 to $195/head.
Mutton numbers continue to be limited and quality was mixed.
Merino ewes sold from $114 to $161 with crossbred ewes reaching $165/head.
