Trade weight new season lambs lifted $3 with prices ranging from $135 to $162/head. Heavy lambs to 26kg held mostly firm to receive from $150 to $179/head.

An exceptional run of extra heavy weights attracted strong competition lifting by $6 to range from $172 to $210/head.

Carcase prices averaged from 636c to 700c/kg cwt.

Heavy and extra heavy weight old lambs lifted from $4 to $6 and received from $160 to $223/head.

Merino lambs sold from $154 to $190/head.

Mutton quality was fair and prices also lifted, with Merino ewes selling from $146 to $188 and Dorper ewes made from $130 to $191/head.
