Light and medium weights sold from $141 and $166, jumping $5 to $7/head. Prices increased $5 on the 22 to 24kg lambs, which made from $164 to $176/head, averaging 705c/kg cwt.

Competition between domestic and export processors across heavy lambs resulted in a rise of $8, selling from $167 to $181/head.

Heavy export lambs lifted in supply to make from $173 to $198/head, and averaged 637c/kg cwt. Old lambs sold to mixed trends. Heavy trade and heavy lambs slipped by $3 to $6, making from $144 to $160/head, whilst heavy export types sold to dearer trends selling up to $220/head. Merino lambs sold to dearer trends with heavy weight lambs reaching $180/head. Heavy trade lambs made from $141 to $156/head. Mutton was well supplied and the quality was mixed with additional weight this week. Cross bred ewes sold from $156 to $181.
