With Covid-19 restrictions easing there was a full field of buyers.
Restockers were noticeably active on the increased supply of light lambs with most processors not able to compete.
Light and medium trade jumped $4 to $6 selling between $141 and $167 whilst heavy trade lambs lifted $3 making between $167 and $178/head and average 714c/kg cwt. Good competition between domestic and export processors kept a floor in the new season heavy lamb run with prices lifting by $2 selling from $170 and $182/head.
A few pens of export types were selling between $184 and $209.
