THE delivery platform might look different but the content is still valuable in the upcoming Australian Grain Leaders Program (AGLP).

Using Zoom meetings and other internet-based communication systems will allow the participants to spend around 12 months absorbing information that will help them in their future careers and industry roles.

A total of 13 alumni of the AGLP have gone on to grains industry board positions, including current GrainGrowers Chairman Brett Hosking and President of AgForce Grains Board Brendan Taylor.

GrainGrowers general manager, leadership and events, general manager, Kaitlin Commins said the program was suited to people of any age and it would equip them with skills needed to take on leadership roles.

Over the years participants from all states and territories, except the Northern Territory, have participated in the program.

"It takes a year to go through the program and one of the unique thing is that participants are given the opportunity to work on a project," Ms Commins said.

So far 104 graduates have gone through the program.

"The AGLP can help shape your leadership journey," she said.

Applications close shortly for the next program.
