But when it comes to agriculture we will take it.
This week we shared our photos from International Rural Women's Day. It was an opportunity to showcase the faces and personalities who work in the primary industries sector.
From livestock marketing through to agri-politics there is certainly a place for women to thrive.
And just as that day has ticked over we are now starting to plan for the upcoming National Agriculture Day on November 20.
Depending on how the COVID-19 pandemic plays out between now and then it will be interesting to see what form National Agriculture Day takes.
By virtue of many occupations in the rural sector social distancing is the norm for many people who work in agriculture.
However, there are opportunities to get involved with the various hashtags and share your photos and videos online to celebrate agriculture in Australia.
If you are hosting a National Agriculture Day initiative please let us know here at The Rural and we will share your photos.

SPEAKING of celebrations it was a fantastic week for members of the cattle team at Wagga Christian College.
After winning a plethora of awards in the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria's (RASV) hoof and hook competition the school was presented with trophies, vouchers and ribbons on Tuesday.
A special visit to the school by members of the RASV cattle committee meant students could take part in a presentation.
Traditionally the students and their cattle would have made the journey to Royal Melbourne Show to compete. However, this year COVID-19 pandemic restrictions meant the hoof and hook competition had to take on a completely different format and was held at the Yea saleyards.
The students were not able to cross the border and head into Victoria.
