Finished trade lambs were very limited and prices were mostly firm to $5/head dearer in places. Light and medium trade weights sold from $163 to $188 and heavy trade lambs 22 to 24kg made from $198 to $216/head to average 880c/kg cwt.
Heavy lambs weighing 24 to 26kg were very well supplied selling from $214 to $228/head to average 869c/kg cwt.
Another outstanding offering of heavy export type lambs over 26kg were on offer with the market unchanged. Lambs sold from $225 to $255 and up to $325/head for over 30kg lambs.
Extra heavy Dorper lambs reached $251 gaining $5/head. A small mixed quality offering of mutton was available selling to mixed trends.
Heavy Merino ewes sold from $158 to $202 easing $10 and heavy Merino wethers sold from $225 to $250/head to average 629c/kg cwt.
