There was a very good offering of light lambs suiting the restockers with less weight over all for processors. The usual autumn buying group were present operating in a softer market.
Trade lambs picked up in supply a little this week, however, prices were overall $15/head cheaper.
Light and medium weights sold from $160 to $177 with heavy weights selling from $192 to $200/head to average 816c/kg cwt.
Heavy lambs between 25 and 26kg selling to domestic and export processors slipped $19 to make from $190 to $218/head.
Extra heavy weights to export processors dropped by $15 to $25/head.
Over 26kg lambs sold from $211 to $258/head averaging between 702c to 781c/kg cwt.
Merino lambs continue to be well supplies with the market firm to $10/head softer.
Trade and heavy weight lambs sold from $174 to $208/head.
Light lambs to the restockers sold from $140 to $154 and very light Merino lambs made from $43 to $95/head. Additional weight was purchased by feedlots.
