Active Farmers chief executive officer, Ginny Stevens said it was encouraging to put something positive on the calendar.
She said Active Farmers had experienced its share of event cancellations, but it was heartening to see the Run for Resilience on November 7.
In a stroke of luck the same event was also held last year, despite uncertainty around COVID-19 restrictions. "Everyone is pushing events to next year, and it is going to be busy, we thought from a management point of view it would be good to run this one (in 2021)," she said.
Mrs Stevens said people had been starved of events such as running and walking gatherings.
"The end goal (of Active Farmers) is to improve physical and mental health," she said.
The Mangoplah event caters for a wide range of abilities and has attracted Commonwealth Games triathlon gold medalist, and two-time Olympian, Brad Kahlefeldt, who will run the half marathon distance after winning it last year.
There will be 5km and 10km courses to choose from too, and Mrs Stevens said the exceptional season meant the crops were looking spectacular.
For those seeking a challenge she said the 21km would feature a few hills, while there was also some undulation in the 10km, and the 5km held the promise of being relatively flat.
"It will be the same course as last year, but run in reverse," she said.
Will King of "Oonavale," Mangoplah is a member of Active Farmers and also on the organising committee for the Run for Resilience event. He competed in the half marathon at Mangoplah last year and is looking forwarded to running again this year.
He said the bumper season meant the course would certainly be looking spectacular for fellow runners.
